Description: The English Vocabulary Profile site provides information about which words (and importantly, which meanings of those words) and phrases are known and used by learners at each the six CEFR levels.
Site contains information about words, phrases, idioms and collocations. The aim of EVP wordlists is descriptive – not prescriptive: These words reflect what learners at different levels DO know, not what they SHOULD know.
For teachers and students who want to know which CEFR words (1) appear on other high-frequency wordlists and (2) are likely to appear in academic texts, ECOSTAR provides “curated” versions of CEFR wordlists.
