Description: 10 listening comprehension activities for practicing listening skills. Each listening activity includes preparation and background, vocabulary, transcript and exercises. Topics include sports interviews, new inventions, how to study, unusual British festivals, Masai tribes, high-achieving teenagers, the “best job in the world” competition and a radio program about names.
Can-Do: Can follow the essentials of lectures, talks and reports and other forms of presentation which are propositionally and linguistically complex.
